About Affinity Design Group
Architecture. Structural. MEP.
One firm. One coordinated plan set.
Affinity Design Group delivers complete permitted plan sets — architecture, structural, and MEP — under PE oversight. Your project moves from design to approval without the coordination gap that delays most California builds.

Every project is led by a licensed PE. Every deliverable reflects PE-level judgment.
Daniel De Witte, P.E. #82726, provides PE-level oversight on every Affinity project — scoping, quality control, code compliance review, and stamping authority. Production and drafting are handled by a qualified team under PE supervision.
The result: you get the responsiveness and capacity of a firm, with the accountability and judgment of a PE on every plan set.
Complete plan sets. Not just one discipline.
Direct PE access
Daniel De Witte, P.E. #82726, leads every project with PE-level oversight from scope through final inspection. No junior engineers. No handoffs.
Architectural Design
Full architectural drawings — floor plans, elevations, sections, and details. Coordinated with structural and MEP before delivery.
Includes design development, permit set, and construction documents.
Structural Engineering
PE-stamped structural calculations and drawings — seismic, wind, gravity, foundation, framing, lateral systems, and connection details.
CBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, NDS, AISC code compliance on every project.
MEP Engineering
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering coordinated with the architectural and structural package. No separate consultant needed.
Eliminates the most common plan check correction trigger: MEP/structural misalignment.
Revision guarantee
If your plans require revisions due to an error or omission on Affinity's part, they are revised at no additional charge. Period.
The coordination gap is the problem nobody warns you about.
Most plan check corrections aren't engineering errors. They're coordination failures between separately-hired consultants.

Construction-ready plan sets — no field guesswork
Direct PE line for RFIs and inspection-day questions
We plug in alongside your existing architect if needed

About the firm
What does 'full-service' mean?
We deliver complete permitted plan sets covering architecture, structural engineering, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) under one engagement. Most firms only handle one discipline — you hire the others separately and coordinate between them. Affinity eliminates that coordination gap.
How is the team structured?
Daniel De Witte, P.E. #82726, leads every project with PE-level oversight, quality control, and stamping authority. Production and drafting are handled by a qualified team under PE supervision. Every deliverable reflects PE-level judgment before it leaves the office.
Can I hire you for structural only?
Yes. Structural-only engagements start at $1,200 for garage conversions and $2,500 for room additions. If your project also needs architecture or MEP, we can scope the full plan set — or plug in alongside your existing architect.
I already have an architect. Can you handle just structural and MEP?
Absolutely. We work alongside architects regularly. We'll coordinate with their drawings and deliver the structural and MEP portions as a coordinated package. One less firm for you to manage.
Why does the coordination advantage matter?
Most plan check corrections aren't caused by bad engineering — they're caused by misalignment between separately-hired consultants. When architecture, structural, and MEP come from one firm, the most common correction triggers are eliminated before submission.
